Sequence of Waves, St Cecilia's Convent. A Rabid Hands Project.
Ascension is a four story installation that vertically climbs the central stairwell of a former convent. The the bow railing of an old industrial boat was welded back together in the stairwell, fitted with several freestanding arches and a series of dangling industrial lights. The piece was built to be climbed and during the opening Gage Boone choreographed and performed a performance which utilized just that.
